Samsung Preparing to Launch Rollable Smartphone With Flexible Screen, Vivo, Redmi, Oppo

South Korean smartphone maker Samsung is preparing to launch a smartphone with a large and rollable display. It will have a flexible screen which can be opened completely to give a larger display. The company launched its first smartphone six years ago. Samsung has not given any information about the launch of the new type of smartphone. Earlier the company had showcased a hybrid device that can fold and slide simultaneously.

The Elec’s Report It has been reported that Samsung is making a smartphone with a rollable screen. Its display will be up to 12.4 inches. This display size is as big as some Android tablets. This smartphone will be bigger than Huawei’s Mate XT Ultimate Design recently introduced in China. The display of Mate XT Ultimate Design is 10.2 inches.

Samsung’s upcoming smartphone may have an under-display camera, which will not require a camera cutout and will provide a better viewing experience. However, its price may also be higher. In the last few years, the company has showcased new types of foldable smartphones. These also include a smartphone that folds inward twice. It has also received patents for rollable and triple-folding smartphones.

The company has said that the display of this smartphone is made of flexible materials. It has a triple outer camera unit with a 50-megapixel primary camera. The base variant of this smartphone with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is priced at CNY 19,999 (approximately Rs 2,35,900).
